I guess it should come as no surprise that it is 3 weeks since my last post about the garden plans. One look at those plans and I'm sure that you'd realize that I couldn't possibly keep up with everything. And while that's true, we've also been busy in other ways...
Don's folks just left for the airport this morning after a 10-day visit. During that time, we constructed and laid the garden beds, began to work the soil (more on that another time), and started the final garden fence. We also butchered our sow, a bloody 2-day job. And, we moved a pasture fence to allow room for the trees that will be coming next month so they can be safely tucked away from the animals. We also celebrated Caleb's 10th birthday. There just wasn't a whole lot of down time in front of the computer. And frankly, I have no recollection of the excuse of my absence prior to all that. It's gone the way of the rest of my pregnancy-affected brain.
Anyway, I promise to do better. I'll get some details up about our activities soon. In the meantime, thanks for sticking around!
