Caleb bought his Ruger 10/22 today. He's been saving for nearly a year now. He and Don went out behind the barn and shot a box up. Look at that serious face...it's his "hunter face". He feels that much more grown up now. It's very cute, in my mama sort of view. But, it's also beautiful to see him growing and maturing. We bought it in Omaha, and the entire 75 minute trip home, he was reading the instruction manual so that he'd be sure to do everything right.

A boy and a gun
Let's just say that Chief Wahoo isn't the only hunter around here anymore.
