So, you know how husbands sometimes make "impulse buys"? You know...you send them to the grocery store to pick up some paper towels and they return toting ice cream as well? And the electronics store guys love to see a man come in because they are much more likely to talk him into a new flat screen? Well, my husband went shopping yesterday...
He went to pick up our new milk cow, Isabelle. She is another Jersey and is gloriously "in milk" right now.
He got home at about 10 o'clock last night and I went out to peer into the trailer to see her being unloaded into her new home. And what did I see? TWO COWS! The man made an impulse buy of a heifer, due to calve in October, because "she was just so pretty!"
I guess that was his own version of bringing home some ice cream.
