If you spend all day, from 9am to 5pm, out working in the garden, without the benefit of a hat, a collared, long-sleeve (lightweight, of course) shirt, or any of the other things that you know you should have on. You just might end up a redneck.
I did manage to keep my face from burning, but I have a definite farmer's tan now.
